Gravity – It’s All in the Name

This week’s post shines light on the GRAVITY of life.  Its highs and its lows. With the passing of legendary poet, front man and consummate Canadian, our nation mourns. #RIPGordDownie  For a moment, let’s ponder the weight and interpretations of the word and feel the enormity of daily life.

GRAVITY has been famously quoted on for centuries by the world’s brightest and most daring thinkers. GRAVITY holds a number of meanings…

GRAVITY is mysterious:  “I have explained the phenomena of the heavens and of our sea by the force of gravity, but I have not yet assigned a cause to gravity.” –Isaac Newton

GRAVITY is a natural force:  “From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free.” – Jacques Yves Cousteau

GRAVITY is spiritual:  “Challenges are gifts that force us to search for a new center of gravity. Don’t fight them. Just find a new way to stand.” –Oprah Winfrey

GRAVITY is impartial:  “Equality is like gravity. We need to stand on this earth as men and women.” – Joss Whedon (comic book writer)

GRAVITY is unyielding:  “Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing.” – Stephen Hawking

GRAVITY is a lesson in longevity: “I think that gravity sits into everything, including careers, but pendulums do swing and mountains do become valleys after a while…if you keep on walking.” –Sylvester Stallone

GRAVITY is cool:  “I’m so down to earth, I’m bringing gravity back.” – Tinie Tempah

GRAVITY is fundamental:  “The gravity is the first thing which you don’t think.” – Albert Einstein

Gravity Float & Wellness. The name has weight. In times of sorrow: defy gravity. Pursue wellness. Appreciate your health.
